BRIAN
STANLEY SELLAR
October 13, 1948 - August 26, 2025
It is with heavy hearts we announce the
passing of Brian Sellar on August 26,
2025, surrounded by his family.
Brian is survived by his wife Deborah, his
sons; Danial (Nicole), Ryan (Mary),
Richard (Erin), his grandchildren;
Braylon, Myelle, Mia-Bella, Jeremiah,
Boston, Uriah, Kieran and Malia. He also
leaves behind his nieces Summer (Gary),
Emily (Miguel), his nephews Lee (Leanne),
Christopher (Sherri), Randy (Karen), and
his sisters-in-law Patricia and Mikki.
Brian was predeceased by parents Arnina,
Stanley and his brother Boyden.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held
on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00
p.m. at the Canada Inns Club Regent, Grand
Ambassador Room, 3rd Floor, 1415 Regent
Avenue West, Winnipeg.

ETERNAL
BASSLINE
At the bottom of a song, steady and
deep.
A rhythm to carry, a promise to keep.
Each note that he played, each song
that he knew,
Was a heartbeat in time, his love
shining through.
Now the notes may be silent with his
strings at rest,
But his music lives on, as his very
best.
Although he has left us, we'll never
part --
The rhythm of his soul and the love
from his heart.

In
his later years, Brian was the bass player
for the house band, as well as the
resident sound tech, at the Royal George
Hotel in the Winnipeg suburb of Transcona.
