Recording artist and
television host, Sherisse Laurence.
From 1978 through to 1983, Sherisse hosted
"Circus", a half hour Canadian television
variety show airing on CTV. The
family entertainment variety program
featured circus acts performing in the
studio rather than a traditional circus
setting. It was the highest-rated
Canadian entertainment program in its
first season, and expanded to a one hour
format in its second season.
The album, Sybarite, was released
in 1979, with 7 of the 10 songs written by
Sherisse. In 1988, she achieved
moderate success on the Canadian country
charts with her release of the single, Half
A Heart.
