Over the years, many special and unique events have contributed to the musical memories in Winnipeg.

The Blue Note
The Blue Note - On June 27, 1987, Neil Young  re-united with The Squires to play an impromptu session at this iconic Winnipeg night spot.
Festival Express
Festival Express - Arrived in Winnipeg on June 30, 1970 for the July 1st concert at the stadium.
Magical Musical History Tour
Magical Musical History Tour - Local music historian and author, John Einarson, leads guided tours of Winnipeg's rock 'n' roll history.
Niverville Pop Festival
Niverville Pop Festival - Conceived to raise funds for the Lynne Derksen Oxygenator Fund, the first outdoor festival in Manitoba was held on May 24, 1970.
Shakin' All Over
Shakin' All Over - Winnipeg's first rock reunion, Shakin’ All Over: The Winnipeg 1960s Bands and Fans Reunion, took place on June 28, 1987.
The Decker Dash
The Decker Dash - The Beatles first set foot in Canada in Winnipeg on August 18, 1964, giving way to Bruce Decker's dash to the stairs of their airplane.
Man Pop Festival
Man-Pop Festival - Held on August 29, 1970 at the Winnipeg Stadium, it was a major event marking Manitoba's centennial year.
Canadian Country Jubilee
Canadian Country Jubilee - Largest all-Canadian country music show ever to play the western grandstand circuit.
