Also left to mourn Lou's passing is his brother Steve (Polly) and sister-in-law Sophie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Lou was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Elsie (nee Neiman), son-in-law Grant Drummond, brothers and sisters Walter (Frances), Joe (Stella), Leonard, Elizabeth (Peter) Andrusyshyn, John (Nellie) and Annie (John) Talaga. Dad was born on June 23, 1922 to John and Mary Podaima who had immigrated to Canada. He grew up on a small farm in Broad Valley, MB. Dad began working in the auto body industry and owned a family restaurant in Treherne, MB before returning to Winnipeg to finish his career as an estimator for MPIC.
