Howard (Howie) Wiseman went on to become a writer, director, story editor, and associate professor of screenwriting at York University where he has taught since 2006.  He is a Writers Guild of Canada Top Ten Award-Winning writer for his 4 hour CBC Radio Miniseries adaptation of Mordecai Richler’s “Barney’s Version".  A two-time Gemini nominated writer and director, Howard is a story consultant with Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Writer's Studio as of April 2024.
